MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jul 07

Worked for 5 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Equipment problems (unable to communicate with camera and unable
to initialize xmis) plagued the first part of the night. Not that
it mattered, as it was cloudy anyway.
Camera problems were solved by repeatedly power cycling the camera
on the telescope. Xmis problems were solved by power cycling the
MIS in the computer room.
Glory and kuddos to Bob who, even while on holiday, could solve
these problems on top of his head.
At around midnight it cleared and I could observe the rest of the
night.
