MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jul 21

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

~2am, the  Set  speed stopped working, we could only move the 
telescope on the  Slew  speed.

As a consequence, the telescope drifted to the east, either 
faster than the guider could correct it or the guider could 
not move the telescope on the slow setting to correct the drift.

~4:40am, Tambora seems to have frozen, causing ccdcom to hang.
The problem was solved by resetting Tambora and restarting ccdcom.
