MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 May 03 Observer(s): Jules Halpern Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: Templeton Direct Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Clear, Winds High End: Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Continued monitoring various astronomical explosions. A few problems were encountered, as described in the accompanying trouble report. But I was able to complete the desired observations. I was also lucky in that my targets were in the north and were not affected by strong wind from the south. I will save some interesting observations about the telescope for another night. Tonight's report already has too many. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 May 4 [5:10:45]
