MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Sep 05

Worked for 6 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.75 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 4 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Patchy clouds throughout the night.  The least amount of clouds 
were at around 10:00 pm.  I obtained 104 images, 60-75%
which are useable.  On and off I heard loud thundering noises
that sounded like fighter airplanes flying in the sky during the
first part of the night (from 7 pm - 10 pm), but I'm not sure what
that noise was.
