MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Dec 29 Observer(s): armstrong Institution(s): columbia Instrument: templeton/direct Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: What a delightful evening it was. And a delightful middle-of-the-night and end-of-the-night, come to think of it. Got two long time series of cv's. Sky was a little cirrus-y at first, but then clear for a good 10 hours with humidity below 60% all night. Still no sign of the dead mice's progeny, but patience! ... 18 nights to go. Seeing wasn't so hot. Squash casserole could have done with some improvement too. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Dec 30 [5:58:17]
