MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Jul 21

Worked for 2 hours (all night)
Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather from 22:00 until dawn.
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Got a little data early on in the night; then clouds moved in.  Closed; 
reopened about an hour later, got a little more data.  Closed for
high humidity and increasing clouds about 30 min later (~ 11:30pm.)

Soon afterward, rain began suddenly, and utterly pummelled us.  
Quite impressive, even before being joined by lightning soon
afterwards.  By then we were in lightning shutdown.

After ~ 3:30 there were patches of clear sky, but I never managed
to get any more usable time series.
