MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Jun 17 Observer(s): Vestergaard Institution(s): Arizona Instrument: CCDS Worked for 8.75 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, cirrus in horizon Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, cirrus in horizon Observing Summary: It was clear at sunset with a few cirrus clouds in north horizon. Transparency was very good all night. So was seeing -even at airmass of 1.9! However, my last object was a standard right overhead and the seeing was then very unstable (unstable air right overhead?). The star jumped in and out of the slit and the seeing varied from about 1.3-2.0 . Amazing. Otherwise a very nice night overall. I thought the cirrus had dissipated for radar showed no humidity, but there were cirrus in the north horizon on KPNO webcam. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Jun 18 [4:54:39]
