MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Mar 29

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Smoke
   Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Smoke
   End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, Smoke

Observing Summary:

For having the looming threat of a fire evacuation at any 
moment, illegal aliens on the loose, and a 7 month pregnant 
woman observing, things went without incident, surprisingly 
enough. With our trusty golf club in hand (as recommended by 
our friendly neighborhood ranger/deputy/whatever-his-title-was),
we even helped Chris lock down the 2.4m.

When we weren't saving the world, baking cookies, or basking in
that wondrous campfire smell, we observed 8 targets (counting 
NGC4051 twice). It was pretty clear except for the smoke to the
West from the fire.
