MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 May 16 Observer(s): Atlee Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 2000 until 2300. Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, humidity jump @2AM Observing Summary: I got all seven targets with three exposures each, except Mrk 290 for which I got two exposures due to time constraints. Got two spectroscopic standard stars with two exposures each. Was unable to locate Feige 98, possibly due to cloud cover, so used an alternate standard star, BD+33. Light, patchy clouds at beginning of night cleared by the end of second exposure of first photometric standard (F34). Atmospheric conditions worsened between 0600 and 0730 UT, with guide stars becoming unstable, despite apparently clear skies. IC went down during an exposure, but data taken do not appear to have been affected. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 May 17 [5:09:58]
