MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Nov 11 Observer(s): Sebastien Lepine Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: MkIII + Wilbur Worked for 9 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 3am until 6am. Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Overcast, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Many thanks to Bob and Steven for their Sunday afternoon repair of the telescope. Very much appreciated! With the telescope functional again, I succeded in finishing off all planned observations for this run. Thing went well tonight from 6pm to 3am, when clouds ahead of a cold front finally moved in. Seeing was not terribly good at times, but still OK for spectroscopy. I obtained spectra of 58 more nearby stars. Closed down at 3:30am because of cloud cover. This concludes my run. Thanks again to the staff for their excellent support (as always). ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Nov 12 [4:02:31]
