MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Nov 16

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing ~1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, haze
   Mid: Seeing ~1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, haze
   End: Seeing ~1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, haze

Observing Summary:

The weather was very hazy; the seeing was quite variable. Some 
clouds also rolled in later in the night. 
Had some pointing problems in the middle of the night. Repointed 
on bright star to no avail. Repointed at zenith and then could not 
locate bright star. After searching around for a long time, 
eventually repointed on a bright star and the pointing was 
fine for the rest of the night. Lost about an hour to pure 
unadulterated frustration. There was lots of swearing.
