MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Oct 31 Observer(s): chris peters, jimmy chiang Institution(s): dartmouth college Instrument: mark III + templeton Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We spent the night taking spectra of CVs; tonight was Jimmy's first night at MDM, so he was learning the ropes . By night's end, he had the hang of things. Cirrus clouds coupled with a half moon prevented us from doing work on faint objects; however, our backup bright program worked out brilliantly. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Nov 1 [6:38:05] NOTE: This report replaces the previous 1.3m telescope observing report for 2007 Oct 31
