MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2007 Sep 28 Observer(s): Prieto Institution(s): OSU Instrument: 4k Worked for 3 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: I observed a planetary transit for two hours at the beginning of the night after starting one hour late due to bad looking clouds, and closed because of threatening clouds mainly to the south west. The night was also windy, with wind gusts up to ~30mph. I opened at ~1:30am again but couldn't observe M33 for very long due to the patchy clouds, and also was very close to the moon tonight (my other targets had already set at that time). So finally I closed one hour later around 2:30am, and called it a night .. not a good one because of the weather. The guys at the 2.4m had more luck. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2007 Sep 29 [7:03:36]
