MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2008 Dec 21 Observer(s): Nathan Crockett Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: Nellie Worked for 10 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Observed fields in Orion and Landolt standards. During the second half of the night, the telescope started to wobble along dec. These wobbles resulted in unusable data because the amplitude of these wobbles could be as large as an arc-minute or so. This meant that my targets looked like vertical line in my images. Seeing was good though during the first part of the night, 1.2-1.5''. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Dec 22 [5:37:01]
