MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jan 05

Worked for 3 hours (part of the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 21:00 until dawn.
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Overcast, Winds Moderate
   End: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Opened under a light-cirrus sky.  Started a cv time series as the 
sky cleared - 1.2  seeing!!  Got 2.5 hours of good data, until 
clouds came in from the NW and humidity rose.  Closed a few 
minutes after 21:00.  

Clouds stuck around doing nothing until they started raining 
about 20 minutes ago.  So now I'll go to bed (3:11.)
