MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jan 25 Observer(s): S. Lepine Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: MkIII + Wilbur Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: The sky really wasn't great at first, with a lot of cirrus clouds. I managed to get spectra of bright targets in the first half. The clouds cleared up gradually, but the bright moon was not helping things. Still, I managed to get a pretty good haul of 40 targets -- all nearby star candidates, several looking like they could be <15pc. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Jan 26 [7:06:19]
