MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Jul 03

Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.

Observing Summary:

Started the night with some spectacular lightning storms to the
South.  They went away but threatening clouds kept coming at us 
all night.  On the flip side, I got to start brushing up on 
relativity!  Been on my to-do list for about a year.  

It's now 2:34am and I'm going to give up, turn off all the lights, 
and watch a scary movie.



Forecast's been a-bluffin'.
Clouds are huff 'n puffin'.
So I wait
And ruminate,
And ain't observing nuthin'.

Busy though it's dreary.
Read some GR theory,
Ate cheerios,
And now?  Who knows -
Already growing weary.

K, tell ya what I'll do:
I'll give that sky 'til two*.
If it ain't clear,  
I'm outa here,
Finished, kaput, adieu.

*(nothing rhymes with 'two thirty six.'.)
