MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Mar 11 Observer(s): Kunder Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Echelle Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Everything went well. The clouds rolled in at 5:00 am, making it difficult to get good images for the last hour of observing. The East slew button was sticking at the beginning of the night, and I needed to call upon Astronomer Wegner to use his skills in button-pushing to unstick it. As the night progressed, the East slew button came around and it was slewing just like a pro at the end of the run. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Mar 12 [6:23:51]
