MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Nov 18

Instrument: MkIII spectro + Nellie

Worked for 7 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Tough night again with the electronics. While all was 
working fine initially, communications problems with 
the camera occurred on 4 occasions. Each time we made
various attempts to reboot the system, and the camera
eventually went back online after 60-90 minutes of 
efforts/waiting. We still managed to get spectra for
45 targets when everything was working.
