MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Oct 28

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Tonight went pretty well, however I lost a couple of exposures
because the dome stopped tracking the telescope, and partially to
fully occulted the field before I realized that it was indeed not
a cloud localized to my pointing direction :-)  It corrected itself
when I chose the  center dome  command under the  Dome...  options
on the 1.3m control panel.  Later, I would periodically center the
dome, just to make sure it was in the correct location.

The other problem I had was a random computer problem.  I didn't
lose any time and it didn't really affect things, but it was
rather odd - see trouble report.
