MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observer's Report for 2008 Oct 29 Observer(s): Denney Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Tonight went very smoothly, I didn't really have any problems, and the highlight of the night was my heroic rescue of a poor lizard stuck in one of the sticky mouse traps! The only oddity tonight was that every time the dome sent whatever signal it needed to the computer to verify that it was tracking correctly, or something, I would get an error that I was going to paste here, but I didn't copy it down earlier since it was doing this all night, so I just figured I'd copy it down when I was writing this, but of course, now it not giving me the error. Well, regardless of what the error was it still worked, which I guess it the important part. So, I was able to observe all the targets I had planned for the night as well as take some spectra of a transient object that Jose Prieto requested, so it was a good night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2008 Oct 30 [6:16:12]
