MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Apr 28

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Excellent weather conditions. Worked all night on follow-up
spectroscopy of nearby M dwarfs, 49 targets observed total.

I've noticed that in guiding mode there is sometimes 
intermittent jitter in Declination, on the order of a few
arcseconds. Winds were too calm to be the cause. I found 
out that not using the guider removes this jitter, so I 
just used the tracking for shorter exposures. This was 
good enough because the tracking is actually quite accurate.
