MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Dec 15 Observer(s): S. Lepine, J. Schlieder Institution(s): AMNH, Stonybrook Instrument: MkIII + Nellie Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Cirrus clouds most of the night, but OK for getting spectra of bright stars. We observed all the brightest targets on our lists; data look good. Had to pause twice after midnight for about 30 minutes because the extinction was getting too large, but the sky ultimately cleared up for good after 4am. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 Dec 16 [7:26:51]
