MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jan 02

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Overall a good night -- nice and clear, but with some wind and
bad seeing partway through.  Our first night on the new control
system, and things went very smoothly for the most part -- it's
a huge improvement to be able to set automatically, and the 
pointing is vastly better than with the old system.

We did run into some glitches, but none cost us significant time.
