MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 18 Observer(s): Parks, Terndrup Institution(s): OSU Instrument: 4k Worked for 7 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Overcast, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The night started out with ok seeing at about 1.5'' but there was sporadic cloud cover which resulted in about an hour and a half of lost observing time. The cloud cover mainly prevented obeserving of Cygnus, but did not affect observations of NGC6633 for the most part. The guiding worked very well again (when clouds allowed enough counts) and seeing improved throughout the night, eventually dropping to below 1''. Wind was not an issue. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 Jun 18 [15:12:41]
