MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Jun 24 Observer(s): Parks Institution(s): OSU Instrument: 4k Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.11 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.42 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.31 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The night began very clear and focus was easy to obtain. Seeing was ok to start with. Throughout the night the guider had trouble in the North/South direction. During exposures of Cygnus, the guiding was the most troublesome. There were very few stable Cygnus exposures. Towards the end of the night I had to pick and choose when to begin exposures depending on sporadic clouds. Overall it was a good night ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 Jun 24 [4:42:51]
