MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 May 28 Observer(s): Greg Feiden Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: OSU 4k Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 16:00 until 20:30. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Somehow the clouds were able to find us again for the first hour of the night, but conditions cleared up quickly and the observing was decent. One issue came about with the guider... there was no feed, or at least nothing was coming up on the screen! The coordinates that were input yielded stars on previous nights, so something was amiss. Did not have any adverse affects on observing since exposure times were short. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 May 29 [5:19:51]
