MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 May 29 Observer(s): Ondrej Pejcha Institution(s): OSU Instrument: 4K Worked for 8 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 1900 until 2100. Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Worked for all night. Conditions were non-photometric for the most of night. Some clouds in the beginning of the night made several images useless. Afterwards, the sky was clear. Some images were lost due to a slight problem with the guider - it made the telescope move quickly in N-S direction by a couple of pixels and thus making all stars double. This was solved by adjusting guider parameters to more conservative values and the guider worked well for the second part of the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2009 May 30 [5:25:59]
