MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2009 Sep 21

Worked for 3 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Observed only for the first 3 hours of the night
before serious telescope problems started happening.

Telescope would stop midway to a new pointing; tracking
would stop unexpectedly; dome would not home or move;
pointing would be lost. All of this would happen 
intermittently with no obvious pattern. Bob drove
up to check things and we made various tests for
hours trying to figure out what was causing everything
but do no avail.

Close the dome at 3am. Problems not solved.
