MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Oct 24

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 7:30 until end.
   Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 2.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Clouds came in after midnight, and it became pretty windy at the end of the night. 
The dome couldn't be homed this morning. After I checked  home dome  and clicked  applied , the dome rotated and 
passed the home position and then stopped at some random position. The  dome  button remained yellow and an error 
message showed up in the  Status  bar. Later I closed the dome manually by using the knob on the dome control panel.
