MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2010 Sep 24 Observer(s): Chien-Ting Chen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.17 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.48 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The images on the CCDS real time display went weird after about 4 hours of observation. Since then, every image I took would turn out to be nothing, more specifically, the entire CCD would be covered by a homogeneous noise . Even the bias frames, which should be dark, have the same images. I tried to refill CCD Dewar with LN2, but I guess I didn't fill in enough. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2010 Sep 25 [16:26:13]
