MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Feb 28 Observer(s): Hart, Zastrow Institution(s): UofM Instrument: 4k Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: The dome was dripping water in the beginning of the night, so we had to wait an hour or two before we were able to safely open the mirror cover. Once we began observing, the guiding was a little slow in declination giving us multiple images in our exposures. Adjusting the guide cam dec rate to 4.5 solved this. Conditions tonight were great; the seeing was 1.5-2.5 for most of the night with clear skies. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2011 Mar 1 [15:51:31]
