MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Jan 09

Worked for 9 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 2. arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Closed between 11pm and 2am due to high humidity.
No problems with detector or telescope.
Mercury visible at morning twilight.

It may not be widely known that the telescope focus
is much more stable across the sky than previously,
probably as a result of the upgrade to the secondary 
focus motor.
