MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2011 Mar 01 Observer(s): Hart, Zastrow Institution(s): UofM Instrument: 4k Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: There were some patches of clouds, particularly in the beginning of the night, but our observations were not significantly effected by this. Seeing was poor, around 3-4 in this period. Conditions improved later into the night and were were able to achieve seeing of ~1.5 near the end of the night. At one point it seemed like we needed to tweak the focus slightly, from 780 mils to 778 mils, but by the end of the night we had set back to 780 mils. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2011 Mar 2 [6:49:06]
