MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Dec 14

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather all night.

Observing Summary:

Continued atrocious weather. Walked new observer Christine Black
through some of the procedures, and helped out a bit at the
2.4 m.

On the good side, there's been little snow accumulation and the
temperature seems to be hovering above freezing -- the slush
hasn't frozen solid overnight.

Computer room air conditioner died yesterday, and can't be fixed 
until (maybe) Monday.  Since we weren't observing we simply 
left the computer room door open, and also kept the door out 
into the dome open.  As I type this the computer rack is at 
55 Fahrenheit, all through this passive cooling.
