MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Dec 16

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Finally, a clear night, but with humidity a bit high.  Had to 
flush dewar window with dry nitrogen -- lost some time taking
bad data because we'd neglected to see to that ahead of time.

Christine Black operated for most of the night and is ready 
to take over -- Thorstensen is leaving.

We're having some trouble with the telescope; details in the
trouble report.  

For the record, we spoke to Erik Simonsen of Simonsen generator
today, and managed to silence the fault siren on the generator.
We're not sure just why it faulted, but we did discover an 
iffy starter box in the process, which will be seen to this 
week.
