MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Feb 13 Observer(s): De Rosa Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 2.5 hours (off and on through the night) Bad weather most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 04:11 until 09:27. Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate, High humidity Mid: Cirrus, Winds Moderate, high humidity End: Overcast, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: During the afternoon I have had some problems with the spectrograph focusing which delayed daytime calibrations (no bias taken in order to open the dome at twilight, see detailed log for more details). Night began with few cirrus in the sky and high humidity. At UT 04:11 I needed to close the dome due to high humidity. Opened again at UT 09:27 (rechecked the telescope pointing) I had enough time to observe one target before closing again: threatening clouds were covering the sky (rain in Tucson). Overcast for the rest of the night. I have managed to observe two targets and one standard. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2012 Feb 14 [5:43:39]
