MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Feb 23 Observer(s): Shappee & Hawkins Institution(s): OSU & OU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: High Cirrus all night, but could observer ed for the full night. Seeing ranged from 1.8 to 1.3 . There was still an issue with the paddle not responding to small N-S offsets. This made it difficult to place the objects on the slit where we wanted to. Total time cost ~5min. Other then that, a pretty quiet night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2012 Feb 24 [6:14:05]
