MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Jan 04

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Got everything set up for the reverberation campaign. Observed 
all 8 AGNs and 3 standard stars. About 2/3 of the way through 
the night, I got an error message when I tried to run a prospero 
script, and the telescope lost pointing and the TCS Link, etc. etc. 
I lost probably about 45 minutes of the night getting that 
back up and homed and pointed again. More in the trouble report. 

Also, the N-S oscillation that people have noted in the past is 
still occurring-- it was pretty wacky at times. Other than that,
all was well and I was still able to get everything I needed done 
with a few minutes before twilight to spare!
