MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Jan 21

Worked for 8 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds from UT 1 until UT 10.
   Beg: Seeing 3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High
   Mid: Seeing 4 arcsec, Overcast, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Patchy clouds and high winds at sunset; low-efficiency observing 
through clouds for an hour and a half.  Thick clouds rolled in. 
Did no observing for three hours until it cleared up a bit.  
Observed the rest of the night as it cleared, with truly 
terrible seeing that tightened up shortly before morning 
twilight.  7/9 targets observed tonight, including all 
high-priority targets, and a full complement of standards.
