MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Mar 17

Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Very bad weather all night.

Observing Summary:

Very high winds 30-50 mph, dust and overcast all night, and snow mixed with hail in the morning.
I took only calibration data in the evening, but conditions were worse and worse every hour.

Some small pieces of hail were actually entering the dome - probably at the connection of the shutter and the dome (?) - it was hard to say, but when I was standing in the dome, some pieces of ice were falling at my head. There was also a wet spot on the platform, on the East side - between the telescope and the door to control room.
