MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2012 Oct 17

Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night)
Bad weather most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, high humidity
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm, high humidity

Observing Summary:

The remnants of hurricane Paul continue to contaminate the skies over Kitt Peak.
I opened at sunset despite cirrus over most of the sky.  I was able to get a few spectra between clouds,
but had to close around 11pm local because of clouds and high humidity.
I never reopened.
