MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Apr 15 Observer(s): Poleski & Adams Institution(s): OSU Instrument: spectrograph Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Generally good conditions, though there were some patchy cirrus clouds towards the South which at one point extended up to 70 degrees above the horizon. We had to drop one target because the telescope was jiggling ~ few arc-seconds along the North/South axis. This occurred with the telescope pointed into 15 mph wind. Other than that things went smoothly. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Apr 16 [4:43:38]
