MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jan 05 Observer(s): Michael Fausnaugh Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Weather started with patchy clouds/thick cirrus. Lightened up over course of night, mostly clear by twilight. Wind picked up (gusts at 25 mph) toward end of night. The CCDS acquisition camera software hanged at 02:08 UT. Had to reboot the computer, cycle the power, and re-install the drivers, but it came back to life without further problems. Some wind tonight, didn't notice severe nodding over wiggles caused by the wind. Observed 9 AGN and 3 standards! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Jan 6 [6:58:41]
