MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jan 11 Observer(s): De Rosa, Pei Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, Moon 2nd quarter Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, thin cirrus? End: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: We observed 8 targets in the course of 12 hours. We experienced severe guiding issues while observing CBS74 due to gusts of wind (time lost: 15 minutes, poor guiding for 15 min during exposure). Because of the guiding issue and other small delays, we only observed 3 frames each for PG1244 and CBS74. We also saw occasional NS nodding during observation of HZ44 (Dec +36:03:39.5 HA -01:24:45). Thin cirrus at beginning and, possibly, middle of the night. Thick cirrus/patchy clouds at the end of the night (~10:30 UT). ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Jan 12 [7:30:39] NOTE: This report replaces the previous 1.3m telescope observing report for 2014 Jan 11
