MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jul 02

Worked for 1 hours (all night)
Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm, rain/lighning
   Mid: Seeing 2.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Overcast, Winds Calm, rain

Observing Summary:

Weather was pretty bad. Started night closed due to clouds. 
Did lightning shutdown around 11pm because the lightning was making me nervous. 
(I don't know if there's a way to check that I did it right but that might be good)
Around 1am I undid lightning shutdown because the sky cleared.
I think I figured out how to restart everything properly more or less.

Problems after restart:
got the command returned error could not mis guide probe when calling script dostd.
Tried restarting just MIS, that didn't work, so I restarted everything (tcs, xmis, isis, caliban, mdmtcs agent, prospero), which worked

The autoguider was jumping around like crazy when i started tracking.
I reset the aggressiveness to 1 (not 4 or 5 like the manual says), and that seemed to make it better.
 
By about 3 it was too cloudy to see anything, so I closed.
