MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Jul 03

Bad weather most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Rain all night.

Observing Summary:

It was cloudy and rainy all night, so no chance to observe.

The power kept flickering off all night (>10 times).
The generator turned itself off and then back on again a bunch (>5 times), but it always came back on (either on its own or with me manually resetting it).
With all the power irregularities, and no chance to observe anyway, I did a lightning shutdown so there would hopefully be less risk to the machines, and I wouldn't have to hear them turn off and on all night.

The backup power supply does not work at all, and makes a really annoying noise every time the power flickers (is there a way to turn it off?)
