MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2014 Mar 21 Observer(s): Grier (and two students for awhile) Institution(s): Ohio State, Mizzou Instrument: CCDS Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Got through 5 of 6 AGN14 targets, and one target requested by folks back at OSU. The night was OK, with clouds causing problems in the middle of the night, but for the most part the weather was OK. Had problems with the telescope nodding in the N-S direction, though, which entirely prohibited the observing of one of our targets, NGC2617, despite trying it twice at different times of night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2014 Mar 22 [5:24:32]
