MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Apr 28 Observer(s): Alper & Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: MkIII/Templeton Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Clear, Winds Moderate End: Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: No real problems, other than a seemingly large gust of wind that hit both the 2.4 and the 1.3 at about the same time around 04:45 and knocked both of our targets out of the slits. That or an earthquake, so probably strong wind. Experimenting tonight, at John's request, with leaving the e-stop disengaged after closing up the 1.3 dome. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Apr 29 [5:25:39]
