MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Apr 30 Observer(s): Alper & Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: MkIII/Templeton Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: On and off cirrus clouds all night. Decent data on bright objects, but a nearly full moon and clouds made for a bright night. Worth noting that if one Alt-F4s out of the VNC window accidentally, the Alt key will remain triggered on the remote system once one opens up another VNC session, and one must press Alt again to enable any real keyboard or mouse functionality. Who would do something so silly and then figure out something even sillier? ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 May 1 [5:17:52]
